Foundry Sands
It is estimated that companies discard between six and ten million tons of foundry sand each year. GFI provides reuse and recycling programs for these high quality silica and foundry sands for the ferrous and nonferrous metal casting industry. These programs save the waste generators costs to their bottom line while simultaneously creating beneficial reuse programs that enable the sands to be used for other processes by other companies instead of filling local landfills.
