GFI Divisions

GFI has several divisions including: one of the countries leading foundry sand recycling practices, delivering spent sand from foundries to cement kilns for use in cement creation, and to the world’s largest primary copper smelter for use as a flux. GFI works with leading hazardous waste management and chemical companies to prepare and deliver metal bearings wastewater treatment sludge to smelters for the recapture of a variety of metals. This metal concentrate division works with jewelry, electronics, and metal plating companies across the country. GFI also operates a Diatomaceous earth mine delivering thousands of tons of DE to cement manufacturers each month.

In all GFI delivers more than 20,000 tons of recycled materials each month for beneficial reuse.
